Yelling

Smaller villages still deserve full attention

Yelling is a smaller village, but that should never mean smaller consideration. What I’m hearing is that access to services and staying connected matters more here than people often realise.

The common thread across the ward

Every village in this ward has its own character and its own priorities. What links them is something simpler. People want to be heard, kept informed and properly represented when practical local issues need pushed through the system.

Smaller villages still deserve full attention
What I’m hearing locally

What matters in Yelling

  • Access to basic services cannot be taken for granted
  • Rural isolation and staying connected matter
  • Everyday infrastructure makes a real difference
  • Speeding through the village on a tight, narrow road causes real concern
  • Drivers do not always slow properly or yield well where the road narrows
  • Diversions linked to the new A428 can turn that pressure into a real headache for Yelling
  • Smaller villages can feel overlooked
What sits where

Who needs to do what

Part of good local representation is being clear about which level of government can actually move an issue. That is how you turn frustration into follow-through.

Honest

Where I do not yet have the full picture, I will say so and continue listening.

Fair
Fair

Yelling should not have to compete for attention. It should receive it as a matter of course.
