What matters in Toseland
- Concern about being overlooked
- Importance of local infrastructure and services
- Frustration when smaller issues are not picked up early
- A desire for consistent representation

Rural communities should not have to fight to be noticed
Toseland is another village where the risk is not lack of community, but lack of visibility. What I’m hearing is that smaller places can feel like they only get attention at election time.
Every village in this ward has its own character and its own priorities. What links them is something simpler. People want to be heard, kept informed and properly represented when practical local issues need pushed through the system.
Part of good local representation is being clear about which level of government can actually move an issue. That is how you turn frustration into follow-through.
Parish raises issues locally and helps define what the village needs most.
District represents and pushes those concerns forward in the wider council system.
County delivers where infrastructure and transport are involved, so it needs the right pressure applied.
Toseland should not have to shout louder than other places just to be heard.
My role would be to make sure it does not only get attention when an election comes round.
That means noticing the smaller things early and treating them as worth dealing with.
If you live in Toseland, let me know what matters most locally.
